Sharing Our Success in the Community

At SCL, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. We are proud to support local initiatives and charities, making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most. We strive to contribute to the well-being of our local communities while also extending our support to those in need across the United Kingdom through our charitable endeavors.

Ellenor Hospices: On Your Bike – 2019

In May 2019, members of SCL again rode their bikes in the ‘On Your Bike’ fund raising event organised by The Rotary Club of Gravesend, and raised over £850 for Ellenor Hospices.

The Prince’s Trust

In 2011 and 2012, SCL has raised money for The Prince’s Trust, in recognition of the fundraising done by SCL, we received special thanks from Michael Caine and Jonathan Ross.

British Heart Foundation

In 2010, Des (our Managing Director) ran the Paris Marathon, raising money for the British Heart Foundation. He completed the marathon in 4 hours and 38 minutes.

Ellenor Hospices – 2014

In April 2014, members of SCL rode their bikes in the ‘On Your Bike’ fund raising event organised by The Rotary Club of Gravesend.

Screwball Rally 2010

In September 2010, the team at SCL took part in the Screwbally Rally, driving around Europe raising money for the EllenorLions Hospice, the route took the team through France, Germany and Belgium, lasting 5 days.

Circus Starr

In 2012, SCL gave disabled children the chance to see a circus, thanks to a generous donation to Circus Starr.
